In a the world of social media we have been given access to the world. The world can see our lives at a press of an app. These apps include Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Blogs. These can be used as tools of good purpose or weapons of mass destruction. The good purpose can be influencing others to do great, telling people to beware of a bad product, and awareness of a bad system. These are moving the world forward with energy. Some of us get stuck on the part of pointing out a problem. This points to the instant gratification of the one click world. Which in the end is just lip-service. Lip-service is the art of saying something without action. Some are content with just lip service. This shows a laziness in them. Some are social media warriors. saying that things are bad instead of looking for solutions. The solutions that can go into a future entrepreneur’s hand to execute it. This is The Lazy Man’s Hustle. The Hustle that brings solutions to the world.

Love or enabler #powerfuls #standfor

Love is in the air this week of Valentine’s. The birds are chirping many are searching but so many are lost on the meaning of love. Love has many faces and many facets. The faces of love can be sweet, passionate, empowering, and tough. The sweet love is what we look for during Valentines. This is the love we see in the movies. Like my favorite movie Hitch. Hitch is a love advisor who falls in love in a movie. He looks for ways to impress the woman he has feelings for. This is what most people who fantasize love want. The perfect kind of love that is freeing and so on. No controlling you or telling you what to do just love. This comes from having a over-fantasization of your parents and caregivers. Most parents/caregivers are selfless human beings. They give you what you need and sometimes what you want. This is the spoiling in a way. Spoiling is another way of saying enabling. Enabling is letting people do and say what they want to their own detriment. Enabling and empowering are sometimes confused. The confusion comes from seeing others getting instant gratification from their detrimental actions and seeing that as empowering them. Empowerment doesn’t come from giving a candy to a baby. The candy can instantly gratify a sweet tooth and a frazzled mother. The empowering choice would be to give the baby water or milk. Water and milk are nutritious for babies. This can help the baby grow into a powerful adult with great comprehension of the world.

Let’s not be enablers! Enablers are lazy and suffer from cowardice. They do love but it’s an overlove that could end with them in an early grave from stress and mistreatment. You must teach others how to treat you. Forgiveness is only for your soul. The trespasser musn’t know you forgave them. Telling the trespasser you forgive them will enable them to do worst. Then you end up stuck in a vicious cycle.

Self-Hate, The Destructive Kind of Love By Durrell Hearns #powerfuls

Self-Hate is the most destructive kind of love. Why do I say it is a destructive kind of love? Because What I have observed is that we are not born to hate anything. We are born to learn but definitely not hate. When I see a baby crying for food or attention. I see an entity learning how to fill its belly or satiate a need. There is no hate there. I have never seen a deer hate someone without having a past with that person. I see self-hate as a love of the past.

The past was good to some but was bad to others. When the ones who were mistreated by the past look back they see themselves being mistreated. They just see it at face value nothing more nothing less. When they want to improve themselves they remember the time they wanted to do something different and failed at it. This stops them from trying again out of fear of ridicule and mistreatment. Why is this such a horrible thing? Because success doesn’t happen at a push of the button. Sometimes, you have to push the button till you don’t have a finger to press it anymore.

Self-Hate will hold you back from building relationships. Building relationships is a lost art form. The love of our past makes us live in the past. When we meet people of a certain color, demeanor, or even height. We can be prone to mistreat them because of our past. Self-hate can make our allies look like our enemies and our enemies look like our friends. We can end up helping our enemy and breaking our friends. The same friends that have been with us through thick and thin, Can look like our enemy from one bad day.

Self-hate makes us be very patient with our enemies but very impatient with our friends. Our enemy can be threatening to kill us but self-hate makes us laugh it off. Our friend could forget us at the store one time and we want to break ties with them forever. Why does self-hate make us love our enemies more? Because self-hate wants us dead.

Self-Hate is happy when you handle your problems passively. Self-hate loves to see you stressing from self-inflicted pain. Self-hate will change your life priorities to where you are paying the bar before you pay your bills. To where you are paying the store before paying the bills. Self-hate loves you being a detriment to yourself.

Solutions:

The solution to Self-Hate is very easy. Self-Hate is caused by unresolved conflict. When we are told to forgive someone it is meant to heal yourself. Your mind can play the rationalization game very well. It can make everything look like the fault of others in an instance. When we can forgive the past and take the effort to build ourselves in many ways. We can learn to move forward and love ourselves. Effort is an amazing game changer. When we get out there and resolve our problems.

The world will be a better place!!

When they had a bad day they could rely on me to be a person to mistreat. I would be working on new projects and would have to be yelled at for no reason. I would have to deal with bitter people who have done nothing in their life telling me how to live mine. This would affect me so much I would give up and fester.

Are you a victim of PROPAGANDA! #lazymanshustle

Propaganda comes in many forms! Propaganda can be the show you watched where all the rich people have a heart of gold. It could be the show about a leader which only shows one part of their life but leave out all the bad or progressive stuff. I believe many of us have been victims of propaganda. When we mistreat each other because we have been told to think of each other or if you see your friend of a different race as “one of the good ones” You Are A Victim of Propaganda. If you see yourself as “one of the good ones” You Are A Victim of Propaganda. Propaganda is defined as especially bias or misleading information used to promote a cause or point of view. Propaganda can be “your not the solution to your life, We ARE!”. Propaganda is very detrimental to us as human beings and wishes for us to not think critically of it.

Solutions:

In my book Powerfuls I go in depth about thinking critically. Even in school I have had to look outside the class and the text. Question everything given to you it could be a poison hidden in a good meal.

Crazy Stories by Durrell

One of my crazy stories is when I first came back to my hometown after traveling the world. I went to a local bar to observe the local scene to see where I fit. I talk with the friendly bartender and waiters and more of the locals in the bar. When I drink my water at the end of the bar I start feeling people touching me. I turn around and its a random caucasian couple just touching me on my arms, chest and back. When I asked what was their problem. They told me to lighten up it’s just a joke.

The lesson I learned is A Person Will Never Tell You They Are Mistreating YOU!

11 Signs You are a Pet and Not an Equal! #powerfuls

1. Unwarranted nicknames- Nicknames are the best way to make you a pet. Lets make some context. Lets say you have just started a job and you stay to yourself. You do not make work friends or have conversations about non work related things. Then one of your associates wants to name you. This is called name calling. They want to make you a pet. This is something I have personally dealt with. I was renamed hearnsey for 1 year out of my life because I was seen as a pet. I never really spoke to the guy who renamed me but was renamed because he didn’t want to see me as human.
2. ‎Mistreated for no reason- You have not done anything that anyone else hasn’t done but you get mistreated to the highest level. You get called every name. You have many false rumors made about you and get touched by everyone. They feel they are entitled to pet you because you are their pet. They need you to be a punching bag for their plight. You are there to be their play thing.
3. ‎Never properly trained- This goes for anything including School, Life, or Work. These people see you as their problem and never want you to succeed. The best way to keep you as the pet/entertainment is to never properly train you. You are here to make a difference but you have to train yourself.
4. ‎Told jokes in bad taste- This goes with being mistreated. These “jokes” are made to keep you off your game. They will tell you a joke like “What do you call a night in Chicago? Kill a nigga!” Then expect you to laugh about it. When you don’t, you will get touched and told to have a sense of humor. This is how a pet is treated.
5. ‎Never given real solutions- This goes hand in hand with not being properly trained. If you have solutions for small problems,then you can make a solution for them to stop mistreating you. Then you can be human and not a pet.
6.You are told to do the wrong thing then given you all the blame for doing it- You being there is their problem. They will tell you to do the wrong thing then not take the blame for telling you to do it. This will keep you off their scent and make you the problem.
7. ‎You’re given the table scraps- You are given the worst of the benefits. They will give everyone the benefits you are supposed to receive. Then give you the worst of the benefits. Then tell you you are equally at the table. When you are under the table begging.
8.You are to deal with what is normally taken care of by them- When you are mistreated it is natural and natural law to stand up for yourself. The people who see you as a pet see you standing up for yourself as a misbehaving pet. The things they would stand up to. The pet should take.
9.Everyday becomes an interrogation- The pet must be asked every question in the book. They say this is the best way to get to know you. Watch their numbers become very personal. Like your parents jobs or how many kids do you have. These are made to mistreat you in the future.
10. your accomplishments are minimized- You could climb Mount Everest but to them you climbed an anthill. They are your enemy and they never want you to have anything.
11. They want to control you- You are their pet.

Learning Humility

Privilege? I’ve only heard about it. How it does good and bad for the world? Never experienced it first hand. That made me feel as if money had to be my main focus in life, seeing the other girls come from supportive homes. Little did I know about the sacrifice, being stable came with. Sometimes in life , we get so wrapped in what other people have that you don’t stop to think what they are also missing – you might not. Being humble is a word that can be used so lightly and rarely is put into action. Due to the “lack” of things I wasn’t able to have growing up has made me into someone insightful. I don’t look at things the same. I stop and appreciate everything. From waking up in the morning and the gas in my tank to heading to the gym. Then from the gym to work. Then from work to a quiet place to work on my real dreams. Now , you might ask “ what are those?” I’ll tell you. Dreams are made of the things that make you truly happy. The things you don’t have to second guess. Mind you, I am not talking about money, cars, or fancy houses. I mean real dreams . Peace, Tranquilty, Family, Love, Care and Compassion. I want to be human and live , learn and maybe hurt to heal. Everyone has a different dream they want to achieve . But thanks to the humility I’ve experienced I can look at my goal with clarity and not with greed or a sense of vengeance. When things have gone terribly wrong for me, I do the following. Assess. There is a solution to everything. Up to you to let it happen and watch the demise of something you care about. Yet, on the other hand you can make it happen on your own. I am simple. I don’t like asking for too much if not a necessity. Keeping clear of a cluttered mind is helpful in the art of humility. Don’t ever over think anything. 99% of the time the answer is staring at us in our face. So, the next time you feel doubt is robbing you . Reject that feeling and be grateful for what you have now. Being present is my biggest lesson learned , and thus far my most favorite. I was so stuck in the past that i couldn’t see how bright my future really is. Every day is a stepping stone, don’t miss . Arrogance blinds the real motive. Be Humble and all you’ve ever wanted will be there to set you free.

The Difference between Deceptiveness and Intelligence!!

“Deceptiveness is not intelligence”-Durrell Hearns

In today’s world deceptiveness is seen as a sign of intellect. I would disagree with this notion because the most deceptive can be outsmarted. Deceptive behavior is a base form of survival. It is on the same level as reproduction or eating. Deceptiveness was used by the shelter less human as a way to get more food or resources for themselves. They did not have to be intelligent to be deceptive. Deceptiveness is a the betrayal of cultivation. This is why deceptive people love to have food given to them. You cannot deceive the ground to give you food right now. Deceptive people can’t put a drop of water on a seed and never plant it or till the soil and expect the rewards to be bountiful. This is why deceptiveness is not intelligence. Intelligence knows how to plan, research, and execute. This separates the two. The deceiver would rather research you than the subject. They will forever want what you have. Even if it’s a crumb more than they have. Deception shows low intellect. It shows a fear of accountability and the want to be constantly on the run. Deception makes you watch your back in a safe place. You will not focus on the task if you are not watching your back. The intelligent know to look and plan forward. They don’t get lucky. The intelligent know the result and multiple ways to get to it. They don’t have to lie, cheat, or steal! They know to be the hardworking prepared ant and not the lazy complacent grasshopper. The grasshopper would try to deceive an ant to give it food. Then starve the whole winter.

NEVER DECEPTIVE, ALWAYS INTELLIGENT!
