Negativity is one of the worst things in the world. It can hold back the next greatest idea in the world or the next innovation. Negativity can keep you from your next step or even your own greatness. This is why we have to keep negative thing away from you.
What are negative things? Things that hold you back, things that control you for bad, and things that keep you away from your goal. AKA things not conducive to your growth. Not all pain is bad and not all pain is good. But pain can cause growth. One of the best pains is honesty. Honesty with ourselves can help us get to a goal or even grow as a human being. One of my goals is to stay active and energetic. This will come from my discipline and mindset.
Discipline comes from being honest. Honestly telling yourself you need to be consistent. Honestly telling yourself you have an issue. Some of us are not disciplined because we are not honest with our own flaws and shortcomings. We can be the most honest with others but ourselves can be a sore subject to us. Let’s be very honest with ourselves in everything.
Self-Hate is the most destructive kind of love. Why do I say it is a destructive kind of love? Because What I have observed is that we are not born to hate anything. We are born to learn but definitely not hate. When I see a baby crying for food or attention. I see an entity learning how to fill its belly or satiate a need. There is no hate there. I have never seen a deer hate someone without having a past with that person. I see self-hate as a love of the past.
The past was good to some but was bad to others. When the ones who were mistreated by the past look back they see themselves being mistreated. They just see it at face value nothing more nothing less. When they want to improve themselves they remember the time they wanted to do something different and failed at it. This stops them from trying again out of fear of ridicule and mistreatment. Why is this such a horrible thing? Because success doesn’t happen at a push of the button. Sometimes, you have to push the button till you don’t have a finger to press it anymore.
Self-Hate will hold you back from building relationships. Building relationships is a lost art form. The love of our past makes us live in the past. When we meet people of a certain color, demeanor, or even height. We can be prone to mistreat them because of our past. Self-hate can make our allies look like our enemies and our enemies look like our friends. We can end up helping our enemy and breaking our friends. The same friends that have been with us through thick and thin, Can look like our enemy from one bad day.
Self-hate makes us be very patient with our enemies but very impatient with our friends. Our enemy can be threatening to kill us but self-hate makes us laugh it off. Our friend could forget us at the store one time and we want to break ties with them forever. Why does self-hate make us love our enemies more? Because self-hate wants us dead.
Self-Hate is happy when you handle your problems passively. Self-hate loves to see you stressing from self-inflicted pain. Self-hate will change your life priorities to where you are paying the bar before you pay your bills. To where you are paying the store before paying the bills. Self-hate loves you being a detriment to yourself.
The solution to Self-Hate is very easy. Self-Hate is caused by unresolved conflict. When we are told to forgive someone it is meant to heal yourself. Your mind can play the rationalization game very well. It can make everything look like the fault of others in an instance. When we can forgive the past and take the effort to build ourselves in many ways. We can learn to move forward and love ourselves. Effort is an amazing game changer. When we get out there and resolve our problems.
Propaganda comes in many forms! Propaganda can be the show you watched where all the rich people have a heart of gold. It could be the show about a leader which only shows one part of their life but leave out all the bad or progressive stuff. I believe many of us have been victims of propaganda. When we mistreat each other because we have been told to think of each other or if you see your friend of a different race as “one of the good ones” You Are A Victim of Propaganda. If you see yourself as “one of the good ones” You Are A Victim of Propaganda. Propaganda is defined as especially bias or misleading information used to promote a cause or point of view. Propaganda can be “your not the solution to your life, We ARE!”. Propaganda is very detrimental to us as human beings and wishes for us to not think critically of it.
In my book Powerfuls I go in depth about thinking critically. Even in school I have had to look outside the class and the text. Question everything given to you it could be a poison hidden in a good meal.
When I tell you to be a local voter what do you think? Maybe its literally going out there and putting a ballot in the box. You would be on the right track but I want you to think deeper. We as a people living in a country where the Presidential election becomes the biggest celebrity event. We keep hearing about the last president we elected and why he’s ruining the country. You have to think deeper than that a local vote can help change things for you where you are at. Most likely at a faster rate. We see the president more often than the local candidates. The President is seen doing everything from looking at the sun to getting a free pizza at Denny’s. This makes it seem more personal. The local candidates are barely given any media time. We have to go searching them out or they come to our door at a time when we don’t answer doors for strangers leaving a flyer that ends up in the trash. This is most of us in our daily lives. Our bodies tell us to avoid certain things but we keep ignoring it til it makes us pay a doctor millions of dollars for something that could have been handled immediately. The local politician works closer to you. They live in your community. You have driven by them countless times going to work. You probably couldn’t list 3 local politicians right now. The one’s that handle your tax rates and where your taxes go. Be a local voter in your life. It will change your life. Deal with what is going on right in front of you. Then expand from there. Be your own advocate! Build your dream and make it a reality. The Ark wasn’t built in a day. Moses wasn’t told to hop in God’s hands and he would carry his people to the promise land. It took them a long time. Stop looking for instant gratification and build. Put that first brick down. Do the research for the foundation you need. BE YOUR LOCAL VOTER!!
I went to see the Wonder Woman Movie this weekend. As a appreciator of comic book characters and superheroes, I have learned how to appreciate their film counterparts. I call many of these loose adaptations to appeal to a grander audience. When we really look into superheroes they are the counterparts of our mundane existences. Seeing them overcome adversity at the hands of their adversaries. Makes us feel like that could be us. From the age of comic books being for nerds who want to beat up that bully or the appeal now with the world wanting to take down one enemy. This is our draw to them. I wrote the book The Lazy Man’s Hustle to get rid of the term “unemployed”. I hated seeing so many people falling victim to it. I felt I had to put my cape on for them. Showing them a new way. #lazymanshustle
Their are millions of people on the planet earth. This has led to many relationships in the world. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. There are over 450 confirmed mental conditions in the world. Now, add this to my previous statement. This builds upon the how hostile the relationships can get. I have seen many a person try to use control on me. The will guilt trip, attack you personally, and add others into it. This is called an abusive relationship. I call it an abusive relationship because they don’t want you to grow. They want you to stay in the same place because it makes them feel better about their bad decisions. They will hold all their vitriol for you. When they should leave it for their true enemies. The fuck ups should be kept as far away from you as possible. They have a past of failure and love to roll in it. They love it because they are too scared to make another step. If a pain pirate shows any sign of being a pain pirate, LEAVE. You don’t need negative energy around you. All it does is hold you back. The pain pirate loves to use your resources as your own. They will coax you into a bad decision then make fun of you for it. This negative energy will lead to more pain in your life. The more you’re around it, it will consume you. The failure, the fear, the sadness, and the insecurity wil become yours.
The solution is to keep building. Be a great listener to others. Most people fail to communicate their wants/pain with others. Listen to the jokes they tell. Listen to their tone with you and others. These are great tell-tale signs to what kind of person they are. If they are bad, keep them away from you.(unless for analysis) They aren’t ment to be around you. They don’t want to build with you. They want to kill you.
Hubris, some see it as a gift and some see it as an opposition. The ones who see it as a gift use it as such. They make hubris work to better the lives of others or help empower people in their community. They see hubris as a way to build self confidence in the person that is oppresed daily. Always improving because they have accepted themselves and want to help others.
The ones that are against hubris want to control the hubris filled person. These people hate the confident person with self-respect and abundant self-confidence. The will try to bring them down. They will treat the confident person lower than them because they fear being stood up to. They hate to see the confident person achieving greatness, doing things their own way. This is where bullying comes in. The bully hates seeing one of their victims getting up on their own and seeing their worth. The bully needs a punching bag to vent their lack of self-confidence. When the “hubris” filled person stands up to them they see the truth in their false confidence. They see they are weak.
Hubris should be used wisely. I use my hubris when someone want to bully me and make me feel smaller as a person. Hubris is a great armor and weapon. When people try to belittle you, hubris makes you stand up for yourself. If hubris wasn’t their you would become encumbered by others petty problems. They would use you as a place to vent their problems but instead of talking to you. they will treat you less than you deserve.
